Life happens in seasons, and opportunities come in windows. When the right window opens, it takes one to a good season. When one hits a rough patch, it can take them to a bad season. Good or bad, seasons can be long or short. When God blesses one with an opportunity and a good season, pride should not overtake wisdom. I've seen people who struck gold for a season and they looked down on others. They didn't realise that they were in a season and the window of opportunity had opened but it would soon close. The open window was only staying that way for a short season, followed by a long season of closed doors and windows. Humility is not for fools. It's for the wise. Pride is for fools because it causes people to forget reality. Bad times can befall anyone at any time, regardless of how well we prepare for good seasons. Tragedy has no respect for anyone. So we owe it to our dignity to stay humble. God bless us all!
