Williams Community Preschool (an SCA Program) has space available for this upcoming school year. We serve children 3-5 years old. Children will need to have turned 3 by September 1, 2025. Now is the perfect time to come visit if you are interested in enrolling. We are located at the Williams Elementary School. We are having our summer session right now, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, 9 am -2 pm, We welcome you to come down meet staff and get a tour. Please enter through the side gate near the circle drive and track. Regular Hours: Monday - Wednesday 7am - 1pm Thursdays 2pm Most families will qualify for a scholarship through the Preschool Promise Grant. Our program is a Preschool Promise program, which provides funding to high-quality programs in the state. The first step in enrolling for our program is through the link below. There will be a large yellow tab that says "Click here to complete a 2025/26 Preschool Promise Interest Form…”. You will be directed to an online screening form. Be sure to choose Williams Community Preschool. https://www.soesd.k12.or.us/preschool-finder/ If you feel that your family does not qualify for a scholarship, we do offer a sliding scale tuition, based on income. The Williams Community Preschool’s mission is to provide the Williams Elementary and Applegate School communities with a low-to-no-cost, high-quality, safe, play-based, and engaging preschool program for all of its children. We strive to create a loving, supportive learning community amongst staff, families, and children. Our program is centered on play, exploration, and inquiry. Through play, inspiring exploration, and curiosity, we provide a foundation of the necessary academic and social/emotional skills needed to successfully navigate childhood and beyond. These skills will give children the tools to express themselves in appropriate ways, to self-regulate, to develop empathy, create positive friendships, and learn how to be a part of and contribute to a group and community. The Williams Community Preschool is committed to creating an environment where every child feels valued, respected, and included. We go beyond just identifying and addressing barriers to learning and development. We recognize that each child has unique strengths, challenges, and learning styles, and we provide individualized support and accommodations to ensure that every child can thrive. We celebrate the unique differences between children and families within our program, and we also strive to normalize the differences of others in the world that we don’t have the opportunity to experience in our everyday lives.
