Prologue Set in 2044, post WW3 era, in a cyberpunk city named New Merica. 26 year old Kate Sokolova, a well established fashion model/influencer by day, and a covert operative by night, embarks on a journey to uncover the truth behind a seemingly cryptic book she bought at an auction for 12,000 credits. The book is based on a true story, in which its very author left a series of intricately elaborate breadcumbs, in hopes that some day, his rightful soul connected successor may find and unlock the treasures within. Doing so reveals the true potential of an aging technology that was initially designed to steal authenticity from the very people who created it. It is known that the author used this technology to manifest his own success, before his passing in 2030. His plans were foiled by the war. It's up to Kate to connect those pieces together, and bring the technology back to life and fulfill the author's last wish for its impact on her own journey of self discovery.
