I had no option but to crack on yesterday and had one heck of a productive day—what with the supervisor oggling and giving me the stink eye from over on Narrowboat Bluebell whenever I slowed pace 🐾🤭😂 I've become a right old wanderlustan of late and it’s exactly what my body needs right now—but more about that in a moment! Yesterday in the workshop I was able to create and send half of my outstanding makes list, which made me very happy as I’m finally catching up after all these health bumfuzzling hullabaloos 🙏❤️✊️ Just after mine and Dusty-Dog’s early walk up and over the golf course, I set myself a challenge to work until I’d created 12 pieces—and then, as a treat, I’d fulfil my inner wanderlustan’s need for a hike up to The Cage in Lyme Park, while Ma was meeting a friend with Fleur at the playpark and Bob was off scootering with his tribe ☺️ It was proper lush up there, with views across the Cheshire Plain, over Manchester’s skyscrapers, and towards the Pennines over Rochdale and Todmorden way 😍 Yesterday was the first day I kind of sorted out my fatigue too! It’s a weird one, but I’ve cut back on my five cups of strong black coffee a day and upped my water consumption to about 4–5 litres—and I’m fine! I’ve noticed it before: when I neck a large glass of water, the fatigue seems to sod off?!?! 🤷‍♂️ My guess is that, what with the heat, the wanderlustaning, and my body still fighting the last Crohn’s flare, it just needs more fluid to heal? I’ve not a clue—but it seems to be working ✊️ The plan today is to crack on and clear as many of my outstanding orders as possible—just 13 in the book—and then take Fleur and Ma on the adventure I had yesterday up to Lyme Park, and share The Cage and its views with them ☺️ I’ve got a real hankering for Ma’s aubergine tonight too, but we’d need to find some miso paste—as I do like it salty! I used the last of what we had the other day, so I’m hoping we can find a purveyor of the good stuff with no-nonsense ingredients locally🤞 Ooh, Whisper-Cat’s just shown up for a snuggle—but before I go, can I just share my gratitude for all the love and support for yesterday’s post? I’m not sure where it came from—I just grabbed a brew yesterday morning and thought, “What should I write this morning?” and it just poured out 🙏✊️🙏 I hope it spoke to you 🤗 Also, a ton of love and gratitude to John, Sue, Wendy, Jennie, Janet, Ruth, and Margaret for your wonderful orders yesterday ❤️ You're the reason this little family adventure happens!
