Tie-Dye Art Class for Tweenagers

Ages 10-15 Get ready to twist, scrunch, and swirl your way into a world of color! In this vibrant hands-on class held in downtown Haddonfield, tweenagers will explore the fun and creative art of tie-dye. Students will learn classic and modern techniques—including spirals, bullseyes, crumples—while experimenting with bold color combinations and patterns. Participants will create art like pillow cases, socks, and may even try out dyeing on unexpected surfaces. Along the way, they’ll gain a basic understanding of fabric preparation, dye chemistry, and color theory—all while expressing their unique style. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and a willingness to get a little messy! All materials provided.
