When was the last time you drove from one end of Nederland Avenue to the other without stopping at a traffic control signal? Let's face it. Traffic in Nederland has increased drastically over the past decade. If elected, Jeff Darby for Nederland Mayor, Jeff Ortiz for City Council, and I will have a survey performed with a goal to synchronize every traffic control signal device in the City of Nederland. We will then solicit the advisement of the Nederland Police Department and take swift action based on the results of the survey and advisement. We will work with TXDOT where applicable.
