There has been a lot of talk recently about banning Halal and Kosher. MPs have tried this before. Back in 2019,
I and a group of MPs were calling for the end of the practice of 'Non-Stun Slaughter'. We pushed this and couldn't get the support from fellow MPs in parliament. Just as it won't go through today, without public pressure.
