投放时间: 2025-01-09 08:00:00
Scientists discovered 27 new species during a 2022 expedition in Peru's Amazon, including an amphibious mouse with webbed feet, a spiny mouse, a tiny 5.5-inch dwarf squirrel, eight fish species, three amphibians, and 10 butterfly types. In a report by KSL News, the 38-day expedition, involving 13 scientists and local indigenous Awajun people, used camera traps, bioacoustic sensors, and DNA sampling to record 2,046 total species, with 49 classified as threatened. The expedition highlighted the importance of protecting these unique ecosystems to ensure long-term species survival.
