Today was one of those days. The kind where I stopped and thought—THIS is why I buried my face in my laptop for weeks to get licensed, sat through training after training, continue to show up to class EVERY MONDAY, and worked so hard to get hired with New York Life. Today… I talked about TAXES—and I walked away feeling excited, not overwhelmed. 🙌 OH. MY. GOD. It finally clicked! I saw a real-life example of how someone earning $100,000/year is taxed over their lifetime—and how specific tax codes and strategies can help them keep more of what they earn. And for the first time… it made sense. Like, REALLY MADE SENSE. Honestly, I wanted to type this entire post in ALL CAPS because that’s how it feels. For years, I’ve said: There are ways to use taxes to your advantage—you just have to know the right people. And now? I’m becoming one of those people. I’m not claiming to know everything about taxes, but I know a hell of a lot more than I did last year. And I’m proud of that.
