There are very precious moments in therapy when my insight and feedback cracks through a wall of self-protection my client is (unconsciously) holding. I then get to witness a visible relaxation in their body as their nervous system 'lets go' and 'surrenders' what is no longer needed. I've learnt that my full-bodied presence, deep curiosity and natural ability to spot patterns in 'data' (thinking, believing, story narratives, behaviour) is like gold for my clients. Along with being able to convey this 'truth' (that is theirs), in a kind and empathetic way that doesn't feel judgy, critical or threatening. My daughter keeps saying "Mom I'm so proud of the work you are doing but if you do it so fast you need new clients quicker." (so she can shop more on Shein) 😊 But. I am only the guide. It is what my client CHOOSES to do with the feedback and tools provided IN BETWEEN sessions that integrates the shift (mind>body>soul), for feelable, visible change. I bow to the blooming Goddess below as she flowers into the springtime of her personal power. ❤️
