🎨 Meet the Artist: Sierra Jewel One of six artists at Die Lovely Ink, Sierra Jewel brings bold, gothic black and gray work to life. We asked her 15 quick questions — here’s what she had to say: 1. What style do you love tattooing most? Black and gray/dark, gothic 🤩 2. Flash or custom designs? Custom 🥳 3. Your dream tattoo to do? Huge dark fantasy/gothic back piece 🏰 4. First tattoo you ever did? A skeleton hand holding a tarot card 💀 5. Favorite tattoo you’ve ever done? It’s a tie between a seraphim back piece and a skeleton with angel and devil wings on a stomach 👼🏼 😈 6. Favorite subject matter to tattoo? Skeletons and skulls ☠️ , flowers 🌺 , spiders and spider webs 🕸️ 🕷️ 7. What’s your tattooing power snack? Pizza 🍕 🥳 8. Music, podcast, or silence while working? Definitely some music. I listen to almost everything so I have a wide variety of music for my clients. 🙂‍↕️ 🎶 9. What’s your zodiac sign? Cancer ♋️ 🦀 10. Most random fact about you? Sleep is my favorite hobby 😴 11. What’s something clients always ask you? “Are you light handed?” Then I am given a sigh of relief when they figure out I’m light handed ☺️ 12. Favorite tattoo machine or brand? So far i’ve loved my peak wireless machine! 😎 13. What’s your biggest tattooing pet peeve? Not being able to finish a tattoo in one session💔 14. Creepiest or weirdest tattoo story? Had a client almost pass out while he was using numbing cream and couldn’t even feel anything🤨 15. What makes you feel proud as a tattoo artist at Die Lovely Ink? Everything! My entire team at the shop are very uplifting and positive. It’s very rewarding when the people you look up to compliment your work and it drives you to want to do even better!
