Thank god I was able to get this Rose finished 😅 As most of you know im waiting for a heart transplant, its been a very long wait, we are almost at 23months being active listed waiting for our phone to call at anytime telling us they have me a Heart, that in its self can be a bit daunting because its a Huge surgery so you don’t know if thats your last day left here or waking up fighting to get through recovery. I was expecting to wait 6months to receive a heart But unfortunately I’m a very hard one to match, I’m now getting to the pointing end of life and keeping my body stable is getting harder to maintain, next plan of action is I’ll be moving to Melbourne very soon to start a 24/7hr infusion of a drug called Milronone, it’s not to common to get to this stage but here I am I’m going to need it to try and get me to the Transplant, IF that doesn’t seem to help me in weeks or months to come they won’t give up as they will put me on a machine to take over my organs, hoping a heart comes asap, down side of that is the risk of the surgery increases dramatically. Last 9 or so months my nausea hadn’t stopped, multiple different meds to try and help and they did at times to take the edge off, with that iv pulled my self away from people I know and kept myself very much to myself, just in my home with my family, I can say I have definitely lost myself a lot of times this last couple of years, and that’s a mental game to battle as in “am I going to be me ever again” my passion is tattooing! That’s all I have ever wanted to be a Tattooist, a respected tattooist, will I still have that to walk back into after surgery, will I have clients, will I have the passion, will I enjoy it? They are just a few things that troubles me in that one area of my life Let alone My kids, wife, parents and being the same brother I am for my brothers. I started steroids a couple of weeks ago to try and improve my nausea and give me some quality of life Took a good week to get me going, but while I was feeling some what motivated I spoke to Kid (Kirra) my apprentice well old apprentice 😉 said you got a day let’s try and see if I can do a tattoo, of course she was straight up Yep tell me when and I’ll have you organise to go! So yesterday we got it DONE! With the help of my family, Kat and kids to help organise what I needed for the day, and support to get me going to do it with no excuses lol Getting to the shop with Ash and Andrew there setting the vibe and helping and the Kid turning up with drinks, food and what ever else I needed done, This could of gone 2 ways 1: my tattooing career would be done if the work didn’t come out to my satisfactory or 2: give me some more life and gratitude to keep pushing on to know I’m still here and have it to come back to when I’m well 🙂 I have big plans that I keep close to me for when I’m back and you all will be coming along for the ride! Sorry for the long rant just wanted to touch on a few things to why this tattoo ment so much to me. I maybe have 3-6months left here with us 🤞🏼 I am very unwell 98% of the time but yesterday God gave me a day to enjoy and I was able to tattoo for 8hrs 🤘🏼😝 Fk yea! Oh also we did this Live on TikTok we got over 700k likes, multiple Gifs, thousands of comments, shares love and appreciation and many more stuff im unaware of hahah so Thank you all for all of that support! Kid is making a couple of vids made up to post over next few days
