Summer Camp for Teens: Yoga and Creative Expression
投放时间: 2025-07-04 08:00:00
A summer experience for building balance inside and out and unfolding inner potential.
🗓 Monday to Friday | 🕘 9:00–13:30
📅 Camp 1: 2025.07.28 – 08.01
📅 Camp 2: 2025.08.04 – 08.08
At this unique summer camp, we combine the grounding, focusing power of yoga with the freedom and self-discovery of creative expression. Every day begins with playful, energizing movement and mindful breathwork to tune into the body and calm the mind. From that grounded place, we transition into non-conventional artistic exploration using action painting, mask making, body mapping, clay, and storytelling to connect with emotions, imagination, and inner voice.
The camp supports emotional regulation, self-awareness, self-expression, and social connection, essential developmental needs during adolescence. Movement prepares the body and brain for focus and flow, while expressive arts offer tools to explore identity, process emotions, and celebrate unique perspectives.
🌟 What teens will experience:
👉 Yoga and Mindfulness
Each morning begins with a 60–90-minute session designed for 12–15-year-olds. These are playful, grounding, and focus on:
Body Awareness & Interoception: Learning to notice internal sensations through body scans, mirror games, and gentle movement.
👉 Balance & Attention
Balancing poses and cooperative games help with coordination, calm, and focus.
Strength & Stillness: Warrior flows and grounding practices build confidence and presence.
Breath & Emotion: Practices like "Color Breathing" and "Ocean Flow" link mood with breathing.
👉 Integration & Self-Expression
Teens reflect and share through group flows and mindful rituals.
This yoga isn’t about perfect poses - it’s about self-trust, emotional resilience, and feeling grounded in your body.
👉 Creative Expression Workshops
These art workshops invite expression, imagination, and personal insight:
Body Mapping
Teens create life-size outlines filled with symbols, colors, and textures to reflect inner states and future hopes.
Mask Making
Crafting masks to explore identity, self-image, and hidden parts of the self.
Action Painting
Energetic, stress-relieving splatter painting for emotional release.
Clay Work
A sensory, mindful practice that grounds and helps express what words can’t.
