Girls' Voices Now: Empowering Young Women Through Filmmaking

The teenage years are crucial for skill development, confidence building, and future planning. That's why Girls' Voices Now focuses specifically on young women, providing them with professional filmmaking education, mentorship, and career guidance at the most formative time in their lives. The program is completely free, ensuring that financial barriers don't limit potential. The educational impact has been extraordinary: -130 participants have developed professional-level skills -Many have gained confidence to pursue creative careers -Several have earned scholarships and college recognition -144 film festival selections achieved by participants -Most have discovered passions they never knew they had Students have earned scholarships, internships, and awards that have changed the trajectory of their lives. But this work is threatened by a funding gap. We need $25,000 by June 30 to ensure that this summer's group of students gets the same opportunity.
