PLEASE SHARE VEDA's story! Meet Veda, your future best friend. Veda is a 4 year old pitbull mix who is loyal and loving to the core. Currently living in a foster home after being neglected and chained in a backyard for over year. She is now thriving and ready to find a family to call her own. ALL ABOUT VEDA * Temperament: sweet, playful, and affectionate * Good with: good with kids and cats * Veda has main-character energy and isn’t keen on other dogs stealing the spotlight. She needs a home where she is the only dog as she has been very dog-reactive, but might do well with a trainer building confidence with other dogs. * Energy: Moderate-energy, loves walks and playing in the backyard but love lazy days napping on the couch. * Training: House-trained and knows basic commands - and she is SMART and eager to learn from someone who will be patient and work with her! * Special needs: Veda can be an escape artist, so a secure area for her to play would be preferred - but someone who will be diligent about leash walks and keeping a GPS on her may also be a great candidate! *Takes daily medication for allergies * Ideal home: Veda doesn’t need a large yard or daily marathon runs but does benefit from regular mental and physical stimulation. A perfect buddy for someone who enjoys both outdoor fun and quiet evenings at home. Veda will do well in a home with older children (8+) and someone who is ready to continue her journey with love and patience * What Veda loves: Belly rubs and zoomies in the backyard, adventures in the woods, walks and she can never get enough cuddles and snacks. *Veda is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. *There is an anonymous supporter who is donating 2 large bags of dog food and treats to Veda's new forever family!
