Cloud. Errachidia, Morocco. 2024 I’m beyond excited to announce my upcoming exhibition, Sentimental Atlas of Morocco, featuring this photograph as its cover. Running from April 15 to May 25, 2025, at the renowned Centro Internazionale di Fotografia Letizia Battaglia in Palermo, Italy, the exhibition is curated by Daniela Brignone and will showcase 50 images that aim to capture the magic of this extraordinary country. Just like the cloud in the cover photo, which appears almost magically in an open space typically used for Salat Al Eid Al-Adha, these images reflect the beauty and spirit of Morocco. Morocco’s untouched beauty reflects a rich heritage of ancestral rituals and traditions that blend the sacred and the profane. Its vibrant colors evoke timeless atmospheres, shaped by nature’s elements—sand, wind, sea, fire, and the blinding sun—creating a unique interplay between land and people. This exhibition is the most significant tribute Italy has ever paid to Morocco, and I hope I can live up to the immense responsibility of honoring the country I love most in the world.
