🤔 Equestrians - What would life look like if our work could go wherever we went, even the barn? 😮 Let’s be real, being called to horses can feel like both a blessing and a curse. But I’m guessing anyone who’s reading this knows that well 🙃 I don’t need to go into all of the wonderful ways our horses give to us, and enrich our lives. 😌 But I will go into the price we pay to be their stewards, caretakers, owners, riders, friends… 🫣 Having horses in our lives comes with a high barrier to entry in all regards.🦄 💳Monetarily 🥹Emotionally 🪫Energetically All too often we work our tails off in jobs we hate just to be able to handle the monetary demands. The average “middle Class” lncome just doesn’t bring in the kind of resources it takes to give a horse the kind of care they truly need. 💚 But it’s not just about being able to bank roll your horse friends, it’s about the available time we actually have to be and work with them. ♻ For me, I found myself in a wicked cycle of showing up to the barn exhausted 3-4 times a week, just to 🔅Groom 🔅Tack up 🔅Lesson, 🔅And cool down in a hurry.... Only to feel like I barely showed up at all… But eventually I realized this wasn’t fair. I felt my relationship with my horse suffering. I felt my relationship with riding suffering.😮‍💨 It was time to make a change! So over three years ago, I started a digital marketing business with one simple goal in mind: Quit My Job.💻 Do More Horse Stuff 🐎 I knew working online and for myself would cut so much of the unnecessary stress out of my life, so I was determined to find a way to make it work. I had literally no experience in the online space, so it definitely took some digging an research 😅 But I finally found my unicorn of a situation. I built my business on the side while I was still working, and and was able to go full time with it after learning the ropes! The best part is I was helping horses and other horsewomen with what I was providing! 🤗 Now I spend hours of my day at the barn, doing whatever feels natural and fulfilling. No Pressure. No Agenda.
