Carbonear General Hospital LPN Staffing Changes 😐 Last month, I was informed by several individuals about multiple Temporary Full-Time LPN positions being replaced with Temporary Call-In positions. Below is a letter I sent to our district’s MHA, the Minister of Health & Community Services, and the VP for Eastern Health’s Rural Zone. I did receive a call & email from the VP of Eastern Health’s Rural Zone. They acknowledged the issue and assured me that a plan is actively being developed, with an update expected to be communicated to the affected LPN’s by the end of this week. I look forward to seeing what solutions are proposed. I want to thank everyone who brought attention to this concern, as it allows us to work together with government services to create alternative solutions to the challenges in our district.
