Kavalaris Acquires Film Creations, Ltd.

My 2025 bingo card did not include signing acquisition papers for a 52-year-old production company under the glow of a tiki bar, deep in the Sonoran Desert, but some of the best stories start in the most unexpected places. We’re proud to announce that Film Creations, Ltd.—a Tucson-based production company—has officially joined the Kavalaris family. Founded by Rick Rose in 1973, Film Creations has earned the trust of major clients like HBO, A&E, Raytheon, the University of Arizona, and the National Park Service. We’re honored to carry the torch forward and build on that legacy under the Kavalaris umbrella. I’m incredibly excited to be working alongside Rick, who will stay on as Head of Production during this next chapter. His creative vision, wisdom, and deep client relationships are a huge part of what makes this transition so meaningful. This move strengthens our commercial production capabilities and opens exciting new pathways for storytelling, strategy, and client partnerships across the Southwest and beyond. Here’s to what’s next!
