Why clay plaster on the walls? Clay surfaces convey a sense of well-being. Experiencing them awakens an urgent desire to touch the surfaces to confirm what the eyes have already perceived: the authenticity of the unaltered material. Clay surfaces do not mark the boundaries of a room but give depth to the space and promote the value of what they surround without appearing as a function themselves. Clay promotes the quality of the air we breathe through its moisture-regulating effect. Clay earth filters the air, binds odours and makes the room air feel pleasantly fresh. Clay plaster as a building material fulfils all modern requirements for a wall coating if the requirements of existing standards are met. Clay earth is a natural building material that does not pollute the environment and consumes hardly any energy. Clay itself is a binder and pigment in one and does not require any foreign additives for interior use. Clay offers inexhaustible design possibilities, modern or organic. We are proud and very pleased with the results of this recently completed project where we applied 6mm clay fine plasters to an existing old plaster, radically improving the feel of the room. jo@work
