This is what happens when things go sideways on these family operations. But the real question is...why did it happen in the first place? Well, the truth is that the financial end of the Ag industry changed dramatically from the 1980s to the early 2000s and my grandfather did not have the financial organization and systems set up to operate in a new world where prices and markets changed drastically from a day-to-day basis. This is what led to our family's financial destruction...and this is exactly what my team and I do now...
