We're Hiring! Trans European Transport Ltd are seeking to recruit an experienced HGV Driver to join our team. The position will be based in South Tipperary and may include irregular hours, including weekends. Your duties will include picking up and transporting horses, checking and maintaining the vehicle’s safety, ensuring the comfort and security of the horses during transportation, and following all animal safety regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a clean driving record, hold a valid C licence, and be responsible for ensuring the well-being of the horses during transport. Horse handling experience is an advantage but not essential. Responsibilities • Transport horses to various locations safely and punctually. • Ensure the vehicle and transport equipment are clean and in good working condition. • Check the health and well-being of the horses before, during, and after transport. • Load and unload horses in a manner that ensures their safety and comfort. • Adhere to all animal safety regulations and standards. • Provide excellent customer service to clients. • Keep accurate records of transport details and condition of horses before and after transport. • Handle any emergency situation in a calm and professional manner.
