The Fitzroy Developmental Road (Dingo-Mt Flora section) is currently CLOSED to all vehicles between May Downs in the north and Dingo in the south. 🚧 As you can see from the image, this closure is due to Springton Creek, just north of Dingo, flooding after heavy rain over the last 24 hours. The temporary side track in place since the bridge fire back in June has been washed away. On top of that, the floodwaters have caused further damage to the bridge abutments. Our RoadTek team is on-site monitoring the situation. However, with the current water levels and wet conditions, we expect repairs to the side track will take at least a week to begin once the ground conditions improve, weather permitting.
