It might sound a bit silly, but I find it incredibly interesting to observe and listen to people as they look at my photos. Whether it’s at my exhibition or just in general when people talk about my work, I often notice that they see something completely different in a photo than I do. And I find that fascinating. There’s no right or wrong in art. Even with black-and-white photography, you leave a lot of room for the viewer to use their imagination and tell their own stories. The same goes for abstract work, expressions, or whatever else—there’s so much room for interpretation, and that’s what makes it so exciting. It sparks conversations and leads to great discussions.
