🎌✨ Last School Day of Homestay in Japan – A Heartwarming Farewell! ✨🎌 As our amazing homestay journey comes to a close, students shared one last unforgettable experience with their Japanese friends! 💖 Each student received their name written in Kanji, specially chosen by their Japanese buddies to reflect their personality and spirit. They then carefully brushed their Kanji onto a beautiful folding fan (sensu) – a unique and personal souvenir to take home to the USA. 🇺🇸🎁 They also took part in the Tanabata tradition, writing heartfelt wishes on colorful strips of paper (tanzaku) to hang for the July 7th celebration. 🌌🎋 Tanabata celebrates the once-a-year reunion of the stars Orihime and Hikoboshi – a story of hope, dreams, and connection across distances. Just like the bonds formed here. 🌟 We’re so grateful for the warmth, kindness, and unforgettable memories shared during this homestay.
