We need YOU to join our Fight for a Fairer Hills Future. We have today launched our campaign for better roads, schools, sporting fields and infrastructure across The Hills Shire. The NSW Government has designated us the fastest growing Council in NSW – and they need to allocate the funding to match. Our roads are congested, our schools are overcrowded, our parks are in short supply. If you think it’s bad now, imagine when our population grows by 71 per cent to 321,600 people by 2041. We are calling on both the NSW and Australian Governments to take action by: - Upgrading Windsor and Old Windsor Roads, as a priority amongst 45 identified crucial road upgrades - Build at least 14 new schools - Fund the development of 40 new sports fields (31 have partial funding and a further 9 do not have funding at all) - Addressing the significant $207 million infrastructure gap in Box Hill Sign the petition now and help us secure the infrastructure that The Hills deserves. We need 20,000 signatures to have this issue debated in the NSW Parliament.
