Crochet Baby Blankets I LOVE crocheting blankets especially when it uses 2-3 types of easy stitches. Usually for these blankets I use a whole Bernat Baby Blanket yarn skein. I start with 51 chain stitches then work as many rows as possible in double crochet stitches. Once I can’t do more rows, I switch over to a white yarn and crochet a round of single stitches followed by a round of half double crochet. To complete the blanket, I fold it hot dog style and roll it up. Then, I crochet a chain long enough to tie a bow around the blanket, then slip stitch into each of the chain stitches until it’s back to the beginning. Fasten off everything and you’re good to go!
