Back by popular demand! We are hosting another painting with the paws event with Life in the Craft Room in Farmington Hills on Dec. 8th Sunday -Just in time for the holiday season - you and your dog can create artistic pieces for your own keepsake or as a gift item for those special love ones! Join us for a unique and enjoyable artistic experience centered around our furry friends! Your pet will paint with their paws to show off their artistic talent as the next Paw-casso, then you can dazzle the artwork with holiday theme stencils or whatever you imagine to create with the assistance from our artist. There will be 3 sessions to choose from Each sessions is limited to 8 dogs. For the safety and enjoyment of all, it’s important that dogs attending are comfortable working in close proximity with both other dogs and people. There will be several tables set up and barriers blocking off the market space. You can bring their blanket or a mat for the dog to lay on. Dog trainer Elaine will be there to guide and support the dogs. Dog will need to be on-leash and under control by their owner. You are welcome to bring treats and something to keep your dog busy, like chew toys, stuffed bone/ KONG or licky-mat during the part where you will be finishing the artwork. Elaine will have treats on-site to help too. In the event that a participating dog exhibits extremely disruptive and/or unsafe behavior and cannot be redirected/distracted, the attendees may be asked to have the dog go stay in the car to take a break, in order for the owner to finish the rest of the project or leave the event and refunds will not be provided. If you’re eager to join but think your furry friend might prefer staying home, worry not! We’ve got you covered with exclusive projects tailored just for humans. Everyone is welcome to participate and create, whether on four legs or two! ***Please notify us if you choose to attend without your dog- so our artist can prepare your painting project ahead of time or help you brain-storm what you would like to create. Cost: $30/ person- for 1 artwork (Add-on $10 for any additional artwork - for the same dog) you can choose various size of canvas for your project Basic supplies, paint, paw cleaning station will be provided $25 for 2nd dog+ family member or friend to join - 1 artwork You are welcome to make a few paintings, as long as you have enough time to do them or you may be leaving with some semi or unfinished artwork in the worse case scenario, as long as you are okay with that.
