It hit me like a ton of bricks. 🧱 I had spent my 20s raising babies, putting my education and career on the back burner and put my everything into being a MOM! Which I do not regret AT ALL. 💕 But now in my 30s, it was time to figure out my retirement…So I did what most people do. Got a job, a 9-5 with the pension, the pto and all. I thought I was finally set…woo! But then reality sank in… I have to wake up every single day and do the same motions and work until I’m 68-70 for a pension that I might outlive and still be in debt. AND be away from my kids while I watch them grow up.💔 Insert *Crisis in my 30s* I almost went back to college but that also didn’t make sense. I was tired of staying stuck so I did some research and found that the best thing I could do invest in something if I truly wanted to retire early and live life on my own terms.
