Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Security Officers on Thursday, July 10th, from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Meet with Hiring Managers for Full-Time and Part-Time positions on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City and Edgerton, Kansas. Various days and shifts are available with a pay range of $18.45 - $18.57/hr, with weekly pay. Pay is based on site location. Shift times vary on location as well. Location of event: Fairfield Inn & Suites Kansas City at The Legends 1925 N 98th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66111. This is a walk-in event. Come prepared to interview with our hiring managers. Requirements: - Be able to obtain a Security License. - Excellent customer service skills. - Security officer, law enforcement, and/or military experience is a plus. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions. - Ability to pass criminal background and drug screen pre-hire. - Must have availability to work all shifts, mornings, evenings, and overnights for Flex positions. - Must have reliable transportation. - Must regularly walk or stand for extended periods of time and distance. - Exceptional report writing skills. The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
