wind-up mice is excited to host a weekly poetry workshop from the comforts of your own home! 🏡🐭💌 every monday from july 21-september 1 you can drop by at 8 pm EST for a playful yet informative poetry workshop focused on unraveling the whimsy in everyday life taught by our co-editor-in-chief ashley d escobar. you’ll be using materials from your own life alongside readings by poets such as eileen myles, alice notley, & fernando pessoa. how can we use the colloquial to transcend the mundane? these workshops will investigate the intimate & the mythical within your surroundings. there will be room for both writing & critique. our suggested per class donation is $10 (all proceeds go toward printing) but $40 gets you an unlimited pass ⭐️ our paypal is @windupmicepress please dm us for the zoom registration link & hope to see you next week! *private sessions are also available upon request
