Gearing up for our biannual Earth Skills Gathering coming up in May on the central coast 🍃👣🔥 These gatherings are for those who want to delve into the practical skills of land based living, bushcraft & ancestral skills. We are coming into our 5th year of running these gatherings & they have grown into something pretty incredible over the years. We are going to be changing the way we run these gatherings in the future, so this will be the last of its kind! Skills on offer: 🔥 friction fire 🔥 wild foods & medicines 🔥 cordage & rope making 🔥 bone tools 🔥 shelter building 🔥 bird ID And more! Catered dinners using locally sourced food & wild game, plenty of time to connect with like minded nature lovers by the campfire & explore the beautiful rainforest ecology surrounding us. These gatherings encompass not only the practical skills of rewilding but also the philosophies, creating a space for folks to really delve into their interests & learn how to incorporate more of these skills into their lives. We’re going to have @christianehowe.wild join us as part of her Phd on “human rewilding” research which is exciting.
