We can just say God is better, let’s define why God is superior to Satan’s abilities to see who has true intellect: Here are some of God's characteristics along with corresponding Bible scriptures: • Love - 1 John 4:8: "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." • Holiness - Isaiah 6:3: "And they were calling to one another: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.’" • Omnipotence (All-Powerful) - Jeremiah 32:17: "Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you." • Omniscience (All-Knowing) - Psalm 147:5: "Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit." • Omnipresence (Everywhere Present) - Psalm 139:7-10: "Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there." • Faithfulness - Lamentations 3:22-23: "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." • Mercy - Ephesians 2:4-5: "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions." • Justice - Deuteronomy 32:4: "He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he." • Immutability (Unchanging Nature) - Malachi 3:6: "I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed." • Grace - 2 Corinthians 12:9: "But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Human definitions: • Omnipotence (All-Powerful) God possesses unlimited power, able to create, sustain, and govern all things. This characteristic shows His supreme authority over the universe. • Omniscience (All-Knowing) God has complete knowledge of past, present, and future events. Nothing escapes His awareness, including the thoughts and intentions of every heart. • Omnipresence (Present Everywhere) God exists everywhere at all times. His presence fills the heavens and the earth, offering comfort and assurance to believers. • Immutability (Unchanging Nature) God’s nature, character, and promises never change. He is consistent, reliable, and faithful across all generations. • Holiness (Perfect Purity and Moral Integrity) God is utterly pure, without sin or flaw. His holiness sets Him apart, inspiring reverence and awe among His followers. • Love (Unconditional and Sacrificial Care) God’s love is boundless and selfless, demonstrated through His grace and mercy, especially in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for humanity’s redemption. • Justice (Fairness and Righteous Judgment)God is perfectly just, ensuring that good is rewarded, and evil is addressed. His judgments are righteous and impartial. • Mercy (Compassion and Forgiveness)God shows compassion to the undeserving and offers forgiveness to those who repent. His mercy reflects His deep care for humanity. • Sovereignty (Supreme Rule and Authority) God reigns over all creation with ultimate authority. His plans and purposes are carried out according to His divine will. • Faithfulness (Trustworthiness and Dependability) God is always true to His word and promises. Believers can rely on Him in every circumstance, knowing He will never fail. These characteristics collectively define the nature of God, offering insight into His divine essence and relationship with creation.
