From 16 November 2024 to 5 January 2025, the exhibition "Elegant and Style - A Dialogue between Prince Kung's Palace and Chinese Fashion Culture (1780-2024)", jointly organised by Prince Kung’s Palace Museum and China Cultural Centre in Skngapore, will be on display at China Cultural Centre in Singapore, showcasing a new chapter of fashion through the beauty of traditional Chinese aesthetics. Founded in 1780,Prince Kung's Palace is a relatively well-preserved Qing dynasty royal residence in Beijing, China, which is open to the public. With "life" at its core, the Palace has a unique style of architecture, gardens, homes and clothing. This exhibition is the first major theme of the dialogue between the refined life of Prince Kung's Palace and contemporary Chinese fashion, using the architectural scenes of Prince Kung's Palace as clues and clothing as carriers to show the world Chinese designers' fashion interpretations of traditional culture.
