I have been training dogs and their humans for over 10 years and I work with all breeds and all ages. There is no such thing as a one size fits all training style. Just because something works well for one dog or puppy does not mean the same rules and style will apply for others. Every session and program I personally design to fit the needs of your family, furry best friend and understanding that times are a little hard for some, will also do my best to work within your budget and my time without skipping corners for your training needs. I can also help get you started in the right direction for service dog training. (It is important to note that not every dog is suited for this and upon a consultation if I determin your dog is not capable to carry a Service Dog title, I will not continue moving forward.) I have one on one in person sessions available Drop off sessions And Remote Training options are also available via phone, emails or FaceTime. I work with many different tools depending on what the dog will require and what their owners are comfortable. These include: Long lines Buckle collars Treats Clicker Training Prong collars E-Collars Toys or simply using positive body language. I have worked with many fearful dogs who lack deeply with confidence issues. Sometimes too much commotion with verbal praise, treats or toys can be over stimulating for some dogs. In this case, its important to go at a pace the dog is comfortable with and use a quiet and calm positive body language. If a dog does not require the use of a prong or e:collar, I will not have that as a beginner go to option, as not all dogs need those. I will go over any training tool to make sure you understand how to use them appropriately and properly. One tool I will not use are choke collars or oversized heavy prong or chain collars. Every dog is unique and an individual which is why I strive to find the best solutions specifically for them.
