Norfolk’s first book vending machine, first school to promote parkrun and junior parkrun rewards in England, top 5 school library in the UK, Harry Potter themed parts of school including the great hall…amazing trips to London every year… every pupil has an iPad, one of the UKs top digital schools, excellent pupil behaviour and learning, always met Government SATs targets, amazing events, amazing facilities….reading rabbits,, happy staff, taking part in national events, lots of regular guests praising the school….always amazing…. sadly a lot of professional jealously and the Local Education Authority didn’t like the runaway success of the school…. Mundane rules with them….however we kept going doing Norfolk leading things…. No school in Norfolk has won more awards ever! A testament to my excellent leadership….a caring leadership wanting the very best at all times….brilliant school manager Mrs Link, excellent Deputy Sophie Hopkins and other fabulous staff. As long as you’re hardworking and caring you thrived as a member of staff at our school. Proud to be Howard. This was all done with the Apollo Academies Trust. All posts. All work. Another Trust could ruin this all within a matter of weeks and destroy it forever within months - poor leadership, our money taken and low expectations and it’s over…. Let’s hope it never happens….
