Doug McCulloch, President of Douglas Custom Homes is Wichita Falls, began business in 2002. He has become a premiere home builder in Wichita Falls, designing and building designing and building attractive, stylish and energy efficient homes and is the exclusive builder in Bridge Creek Estates. Doug graduated from University of California Riverside in 1977 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Studies. While at Riverside, he was a catcher for the Highlanders national championship baseball team and is a member of the U.C. Riverside Athletic Hall of Fame. In 1977 Doug earned his California real estate license and specialized in residential brokerage services, remodeling and property management. In 1993 Doug and his wife Donna moved to Wichita Falls to begin development on land his family had recently purchased. That same year Doug and his father, Jack McCulloch began the design and construction of The Plex Family Entertainment Center. The Plex opened for business in 1995 and was the only family entertainment center of its kind in Wichita Falls and at over 7 and one-half acres, is still the largest family entertainment center in the area. Shortly after The Plex opened Doug and his father Jack began development in Bridge Creek Estates and the adjoining Candlewood subdivision. Because of his love for baseball, in the spring of 1994 Doug and his father started the Little League of Wichita Falls and continued to coach little league and all-star teams for the next 10 years.
