J'ai récemment eu l'occasion de rencontrer le maire de Repentigny, Nicolas Dufour, pour discuter de notre vision commune en matière d'aménagement du territoire, de transport en commun structurant, d'énergie et de développement durable.​ Nous avons abordé le projet Avantia, une initiative ambitieuse visant à requalifier le parc industriel le long de l'autoroute 40. Ce projet prévoit la création d'un écosystème urbain intégré, comprenant des logements, des espaces d'affaires, un tramway, des parcs et une offre commerciale de proximité. Avantia incarne une vision de développement durable et de mobilité douce, alignée avec les besoins actuels et futurs de notre communauté. ​ Nous avons également discuté de l'importance de prolonger le projet structurant de l'Est vers le sud de Lanaudière, afin d'améliorer la mobilité et de réduire la congestion routière dans notre région. ​ Enfin, nous avons échangé sur les enjeux liés à l'énergie et au développement durable, soulignant la nécessité d'investir dans des infrastructures vertes et résilientes pour assurer un avenir prospère et équitable pour tous.​ Je remercie le maire Dufour pour cette rencontre enrichissante et son engagement envers le développement harmonieux de Repentigny.
