CAP certification is known for its difficulty, with standards on par with those of top medical institutions like Brigham and Women’s Hospital under the Harvard Medical System. Today, Lee Women’s Hospital proudly joins this elite list, becoming one of the few reproductive medicine institutions in Taiwan to receive this high honor. This on-site evaluation was conducted by Dr. Sangita Jindal from New York, who meticulously audited every detail according to CAP’s strict guidelines. Dr. Jindal was highly impressed by our facilities—stating that most overseas reproductive laboratories do not have such a wide array of equipment, such spacious laboratories, or handle such a high volume of cases. Despite limited manpower, our team has been able to efficiently and professionally manage a remarkable number of cases. In preparation for the CAP accreditation, our team went above and beyond—on top of their already demanding clinical work—to ensure that every detail met international standards. The process required a significant investment of both manpower and financial resources, totaling over one million NTD. Many institutions hesitate to undergo this process due to its complexity and cost.
