Bringing It Back!! You’ve been asking about it, and now it's here! One-day event to mark Stan Cook Sr.'s 80th year, the OG wants to have some fun! Just like the good old days, the two Stan’s are going to put off a coastal kayak adventure for the ages! On Sunday, July 27th, they are reviving their famous industry-changing 3-hour Go & Tow, which includes all the usual Stan Cook on the water stuff. This tour allows for very limited numbers. 12 guests in total, will take to the waters with the Stans and have their best day of the summer. Join the Stans for their unforgettable Sea Kayak Tour! You will recognize them even though there is a bit more gray and a little bit less hair. Stan Cook's pop-up sea kayak tour will be uniquely memorable due to a blend of whales, puffins, caves, waterfalls, and the lads’ expert local guiding and unique sense of humour. Here’s what has set their experience apart for more than 30 years: Personalized, Knowledgeable Guiding as the Stans are known for their deep local knowledge and engaging storytelling. They teach paddling basics, share insights about the NL’s unique marine environment, and narrate the rich history and culture of Newfoundland as you explore the coastline. Dramatic Scenery and Hidden Gems: The tours navigate through sea arches, caves, and striking rock formations. Highlights include paddling into caves, enjoying waterfalls, and exploring protected coves—areas often inaccessible except by kayak. Wildlife Encounters: Guests will spot seabirds, puffins, seals, and sometimes dolphins or whales. Stan often encourages participants to interact with marine life, such as holding a starfish or tasting fresh sea urchin (uni) right from the ocean. Connection to Local Culture: Stan Cook’s tours are infused with NL's unique spirit, from the guides’ storytelling to the chance to learn about the province’s coastal heritage and marine environment.
