This element represents so much for people, flow, depth, emotion, nurturing, wombs, embrace, depth, mystery, adventure, peace, tranquility, surrender, balance, impermanence, evolution, sharing, interrelation, connection, unity, and LIFE ITSELF
What does it bring you? What has it meant to you?
This is the third Elemental Temple event for men this summer.
So brothers - I invite you into the ritual
Let us live out loud! - and stand up proud! - and release what is no longer in service to our deepest connections
All of you is welcome in this temple. These events are curated for depth, and to honour a liminal space of unwinding, letting go, and revealing more of what we are inside. There is an ocean of beauty and depth in each of us that we gather to touch, and to love, and embrace in community, in solidarity with our fellow man.

Logistics:
wtf do I bring? - nothing special, loose clothing, maybe a journal
Policy notes / Conduct Agreements:
1 - PRIVACY
2 - AGENCY

6 - PERMISSION
7 - PATIENCE
The space will be open 15 MINUTES EARLY to arrive, mingle, shed shoes, fluids management (drink / pee) etc.
To honour the ceremonial nature and depth of access for each man to immerse into, late comers will not be permitted. The window for flexibility will be held for 5 MINUTES only.
What are we even doing? - Taking turns speaking with prompts for mindfulness and focus of thematic elements
- moving around in unique ways designed to evoke, energize, amplify, unwind, and release
- taking turns speaking in a longer / deeper format called dyads for getting to the heart of the matter at hand and revealing raw truths to oneself and a compassionate witness or the group
- concious connected breathwork, a ceremonial style of lying down and breathing in a surrendered way for an hour, guided by music, and myself supporting the journey in myriad ways
- eat snacks and share more to alchemize and harvest the good work of being real with what we are as humans in this precious life!
These are sober minded events - for clarity - for vulnerability - for grounded change made in the truth of our being

Many people believe that chronic stress or overwhelm is the result of negative thinking or just typical "Type A" personality type.
They think adjusting your mindset, high fiving yourself in the mirror, or having better work/life balance is all that's needed to solve it.
But after helping hundreds of clients over the past 20 years with this issue, let me clear the confusion and shed some light on what's actually going on here...
First: Nervous system overdrive isn't an issue of mindset. The "fight or flight" function is part of the autonomic nervous system...
Just like digestion, heart rate, and other physical functions.
You can't simply "out reason" overwhelm. Information alone is NOT transformation.
Lasting change happens with brain based strategies.. and it’s a whole lot easier than playing “whack a mole” with racing thoughts, and wasting precious time trying to “should” yourself into feeling better.
Second: Stress doesn't always indicate someone is lacking faith. Just like many other physical symptoms can exist in the body, "fight or flight" can be stuck in the "ON" position...
even in those who have a strong faith and are making sound decisions in life.
Of course, with cancer, a cavity, or any other health issue, we wouldn't blame a person's lack of faith, right?
The same is true with nervous system dysregulation. It can happen even in people with a strong faith.
Third: Patterns of chronic stress are memorized in the nervous system. They can be unmemorized as well.
Neuroplasticity offers us all a chance to rewire, and it happens in as little as 15 minutes a day with the right strategies.
As a clinical therapist for the past 20 years, and now someone who has developed a simpler 3-step approach, I can say that it’s not necessary to spend years stuck in the same emotional groundhog day.
And that it's not necessary keep going back into the past in order to be set free in the present.
