Convenient democratic

At the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, the phrases “Indian Removal Act” and “Trail of Tears” caught my attention. These dumps below, to an extent, describe these phrases. The first entails an Act of congress, signed into law by then President Andrew Jackson in 1830, to remove native Indians from their native lands to economically convenient locations. The movement of these natives to this new locations, against their own WILL, in pains, is now known as “Trail of Tears”. While I sympathize with these natives over their dislocation within same continent, one is left to think about the length of the TRAIL and the volume of TEARS Africans experienced as they crossed oceans between continents, to lands unknown to them. Many articles noted the imposition of religious values, and replacement of traditional religion with modern ones, and so on. This is also common in African communities. Quite disheartening to observe that those who try to safeguard our tradition are humiliated by agents of the impostors. Ok, three questions for you. Do you think Africa would have maintained its traditional religions if they had not come in contact with the Europeans? And considering the exposure to modern education and technology due to our association with the Europeans, would you consider this association beneficial or detrimental to Africa? Finally, did Africans know about Space (Sun, Moon, Planets, etc) before the Europeans came to our shores? Ok. Here are some dumps. Can you see any similarities between our artifacts burnt to the ground by modern religious leaders, and Indian artifacts dumped here? Have a great weekend.

anti-government

White supremacy never had to sneak into the White House- the entire government was built on it! These five presidents were some of the most anti-Black to ever set foot in leadership. Their politics made life hell for our people.

1,619 years ago last evening on December 31st of 405AD, a motley nation of up to 100,000 Vandals, Alans, and Suebis, warriors, women and children, crossed the frozen expanse of the Rhine River by moonlight. No Roman army waited on the other side of the river in Roman Gaul, the Vandals and their allies entered the Empire unopposed. In the years that followed they would wreak impossible havoc on the heart of Empire, cultivating in the fall of Carthage in 439AD and the Sack of Rome in 455AD! What might have happened had the Rhine not frozen solid that fateful December in 405AD???

ICES - The Institute for Central European Strategy. #ReOpenUkraine #IRF #BuildingBridges
