The tour, led by winemaker Tzion Hajaj, included an explanation of the fermentation and distillation processes, along with a visit to the distillery and laboratory. This interaction transported students back in time, offering a vivid depiction of the rich history, governance, and cultural contributions of the Meenachil rulers. Learning Outcome: Students developed an appreciation for the governance, cultural richness, and architectural ingenuity of Kerala's past while fostering a deeper understanding of the significance of preserving local heritage. Timeless Stories of the Meenachil Dynasty The Meenachil Karthas, who ruled from around the 14th century AD, were instrumental in shaping the socio-political landscape of the region.
