✅ An elected Dutton Liberal Government will provide $300,000 in funding for much needed upgrades to the Hope Valley Bowling and Community Club Inc. This wonderful club has been part of our local community for over 45 years. The funding will go towards an upgrade of the club’s aged and non-compliant toilets and outdoor verandah, making the facilities safe to enjoy by lawn bowls enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. With increasing social isolation and reduced activity levels, the benefits of outdoor exercise and connection that the club provides to our local community are enormous. These upgrades are possible because of the overwhelming support from our local community. THANK YOU to everyone who supported my petition. 💙💙

Dear Del-Mar-Va Council Scouts! We are looking for YOUR ideas to help name your new District! Currently, you are temporarily part of the newly formed Service Area 1,2,3 or 4. Each Service Are will become a New District of Del-Mar-Va Council in early 2025. Many of you will miss your old District name and the community connections you've made over the years. Many of you are learning for the first time what a District is. The connections and friendships you have made are not going away. We hope you will welcome an opportunity to connect with new scouters and scouts across the Council and help us come up with new awesome names for the 4 new Districts. IMPORTANT: To avoid confusion during this time of transition from 8 to 4 districts, we will retire the names used previously (2010-2024). District names that are being RETIRED: Iron Hill, Powder Mill, Choptank, Cecil, Sussex, Two Bays, Tri-County, Virginia. These and iterations or combinations of these names will not be considered.
