Engaging generosity
HONOURED TO SERVE, PROUD TO BELONG
Yesterday was a powerful reminder of what it means to serve and to belong.
I had the privilege of joining the UCZ Katuba Congregation in Cholokelo Ward as Guest of Honour during their fundraising event. It was more than just an invitation but a celebration of unity, faith, and shared purpose. The warmth, generosity, and spiritual strength of the congregation reminded me that the body of Christ is truly one, bound together by love and service.
Later in the day, our journey continued with engaging town hall meetings in Chunga Ward. These conversations were deep rooted in community priorities and development aspirations that are essential as we shape a people-centered roadmap for progress. Listening to the voices on the ground is how we build a future that reflects who we are and what we truly need.
As a proud son of Katuba, I remain deeply committed to amplifying local voices and championing development that leaves no one behind.
Nkusu kubantu. Development is for the people.
Let’s keep building together.
