Experience farming the way it was meant to be — with powerful Percheron draft horses working the land! Harnessing is how we connect a horse to its work—in the harness discussion we will learn the purpose of each harness part. Learn how we prepare our 3x50’ garden plots using a traditional three-across hitch. Watch as we disc, hear about homemade compost, and prep the perfect seed bed — all with minimal soil damage compared to tractors. See firsthand how healthy soil, bees, and horses create a thriving, sustainable farm ecosystem! Free will donation. All ages encouraged. Our mission is to educate the public about regenerative agricultural practices and sustainable draft horse fieldwork. A snack will be provided after the horses work the garden plots.
