✨✍️ my booksta story ✍️✨
(🇫🇷👇 en commentaires)
In honour of 2K followers (thank you so much for being here 🫶🥹), I wanted to do this fun tag with my booksta profile picture that has been the same since day one! I will also do a giveaway, but the book hasn’t been released yet (any guesses??).🤭
✨when did you start your bookstagram?
In May of 2024 - already 8 months ago! 🤗
✨why did you start?
I had been looking for a creative outlet that had something to do with books for a while. Three of my best friends have hobby or side hustle instagrams and they inspired me to start my own! (@andrushka.explores, @galinas.nose, @preciouspenman)
✨what inspired your username?
That took some time and several iterations! I started with TheCityScribe, but couldn’t get the vibe down. I love ink.sightful because of its play on words and uniqueness in the book community.
✨what was the first book you reviewed?
Reinventing Love - How the patriarchy sabotages heterosexual relations by @_monachollet
✨what’s your favorite part of bookstagram?
The opportunity to be creative, to take some time out of my day to do something that is 100% for me, and that is not tied to any type of productivity.
And of course, the community. I love seeing all of your incredibly creative and interesting posts, to see glimpses of your lives and to chat about our favorite books. I love it so much here. 🥹🫶
