This is a short, two-part series from Lynda Haney who will be discussing her passions for wildlife photography and how this genre is so easily accessible, whatever location you find yourself. We don't always have to go off to exotic locations to find interesting wildlife to capture, this can be done in our own back garden.
Part 1: June 18th 2025
Part 2: July 16th 2025.
From Linda:
If you know me, you may know that I like to be creative with my images but my first love with photography is wildlife photography. There are so many animal subjects of all shapes and sizes out there to photograph you just need to look.
I show you, through my talk, a selection of my wildlife photographs, where I find my subjects and how I photograph them. From mm sized insects to large predators, I love them all.
I talk about the camera settings and I show you the equipment I have, the equipment I prefer to use for different subjects and the various ‘added extras’ that I have.
It’s not only about the photography I also tell you about the interesting facts that I have learned about the animals I photograph. Be prepared to learn a little bit about the entomology of the insects I have photographed along with some interesting facts.
Come along and see some wildlife Up Close and Personal.
