My faith is my guide, and public service is my way of giving back to the people who have always been there for me. I will always be there for the families of Cullman County.
I was on my own at 17 when I graduated from Cullman High School. I worked my way through college delivering pizza and furniture, and lived with a friend on Stouts Mountain to save money. After graduation, I went to work at College Tire, where I eventually became the manager. Now, I own and operate D-1 Motor Cars, located off Hwy 31.
I’ve been married to my wife, Leslie (York), for 28 years, and we’ve been blessed with five children, our youngest is now in heaven. In 2014, we adopted our son Nelson from Haiti to complete our family. In May, we welcomed the next generation, our first granddaughter. Our family is active at Grace Chapel Church.
The compassion and support shown to my family in Cullman County has been overwhelming. I'd be honored to have your vote on July 15th in the Republican Primary.
