Space Hop
Are you a bit of a Marie Kondo fan?
If creating organised and calm spaces brings you peace, we’d love to meet you!
In a healthcare setting, organised spaces can foster a sense of comfort, calmness and reassurance for both patients and staff.
And as a cancer treatment facility, Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA) knows only too well the impact of providing welcoming, warm, and supportive spaces for everyone coming through its doors.
MIA’s Operations team is now looking for volunteers to help them maintain these spaces at The Poche Centre in Wollstonecraft.
But first, let’s be up front … it’s not a glamourous role. It’s a hands-on role.
It’s a role for someone who is passionate about the work we do.
It’s a role for someone who wants to contribute to the wellbeing of patients and staff by helping to provide a positive environment that benefits MIA as a whole.
If you have an eye for detail, an instinct for what makes a space work and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to help others, it’s time we met!
Location: MIA’s Poche Centre, opposite Sydney’s Mater Hospital in Wollstonecraft
Commitment: Ideally, we’d love it if you could spare 2-3 hours on a weekly basis, but we’re also happy to fit in with you
